Neal Hankinson has always had a passion and interest in bespoke design and build since a very young age. At 16 he started as an apprentice learning his trade through qualifications and hands on experience, gaining knowledge by working on all types of installations, including bespoke projects.
Wanting to experience new concepts and methods saw Neal visit different countries. Working with some highly skilled people from various cultures.
Coming back to the UK in 2009 Neal continued working within bespoke major interior design and build. The passion for restoration took over, eventually realising his long- term ambition to concentrate on furniture and kitchen restoration as well as still carrying out on site bespoke works on a smaller scale such as under stair, alcove and bathroom shelving and storage.
Rebranding in 2016 to Neal's Store & Workshop, he now buys and sells all types of furniture to repair and restore, and can also work on your existing furniture and kitchen from a minor repair through to a complete restoration. We now stock lines of new contemporary furniture, mirrors and soft furnishings from the Gallery Direct range.
The friendly boutique store based in the Surrey countryside, provides a very warm welcome and personal service. The key to Neal’s continued success is that he knows your choice and style is unique to you, so will always take the time to understand your needs, including a home visit if required.
